Lend us your ears.
Benjamin Franklin famously observed “Experience is the best teacher, but a fool will have no other.” Motivational posters warn “No one plans to fail; they fail to plan.” There is no shortage of homilies; seek knowledge, make plans!
We’ve helped many start-ups clarify their goals, develop marketing plans and communication objectives and establish business identities. Our background in construction, architectural and interior design and retailing can even help you structure and enliven your retail space. Before you take the plunge into a new venture, try out a GOOD IDEA lifesaver.
A new facet of our consultation services is now in place. Mark Needham, president of GOOD IDEA, accepted an invitation from the Kentucky Arts Council to become an advisor in the Kentucky Peer Advisory Network. After the submission and winning of a grant, KPAN pairs Kentuckians wishing to start an arts related business with an advisor in a related field and pays the consulting fee. The program guidelines and grant information are available here.
All advisors consult independently and can meet on a negotiated fee basis with residents of other states or Kentuckians who have not been awarded a grant.
